The Face Paint Lady
23 Years!
55,000+ FACES!
What fun it’s been!
I have had the extreme pleasure of meeting thousands of children and their families during my fun career as The FacePaint Lady.
I began learning facepainting in 1988 when I took a part time Halloween job at Kinetic Artistry in Takoma Park, MD. I worked there for 3 years and learned theatrical make-up from my dear make-up artist friend, Roger Riggle. From there I facepainted at Darrow Berry Farm in Glenn Dale, MD from 1991-1994. In 1996 I started what would turn into a 7-year, 500 game facepainting streak at Prince George’s Stadium for the Bowie Baysox. I have developed a performance art style to my work that is very audience oriented.
